Spectators: 7519 (Terracing: 5640, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Thomas Bodin started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arvin Andreasson got free with Ted Bergqvist in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kenny Jonasson came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Rimbo IF's Thomas Bodin. But to his dismay, Thomas Bodin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Rimbo IF booed when The Moon & Antarctica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arvin Andreasson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rimbo IF's Ted Bergqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peder Borre in the 31st minute of play. In the 40th minute, Edmund Blomberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ted Bergqvist acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 41st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Edwin Hermansson. Ted Bergqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Oskar Kråk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Oskar Odin made the kick off in the second half. The Moon & Antarctica's Kenny Jonasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Bodin in the 56th minute of play. Dick Alkvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kenny Jonasson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dick Alkvist ran back to his position shaking his head. Kenny Jonasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Bodin in the 70th minute of play. Per-Oskar Kråk hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Thomas Bodin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kenny Jonasson. That made the score 1-3 in the 82 minute of play. A collision led to Rimbo IF getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Edmund Blomberg hit a great ball. Kenny Jonasson was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Thomas Bodin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Thomas Bodin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. The Rimbo IF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
