In the 4th minute, Olov Johansson made a precise shot to the right of Victor Bredberg. Äng's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to NUTGRABBERS getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Olov Johansson hit a great ball. After 15 minutes, Mick Mur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NUTGRABBERS and the Äng players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Ian Malmberg fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NUTGRABBERS's protests and gave Ian Malmberg a yellow card for diving instead. After 16 played minutes NUTGRABBERS got a freekick which was hit by Ian Malmberg. Victor Bredberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olov Johansson in the 18th minute of play. Olov Johansson took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Bredberg. Victor Bredberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Victor Bredberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gösta Gullesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Isac Pihlgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens-Ove Ferm kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. The Äng players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. NUTGRABBERS were winning 0-2.

After having played for 52 minutes, Robin Sikström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Äng's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robin Sikström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jack Bollström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ove Ferm in the 60th minute of play. Ian Malmberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Victor Bredberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Ian Malmberg slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 64th minute. Victor Bredberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olov Johansson in the 68th minute. Jack Bollström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Ove Ferm in the 74th minute of the match. Isac Pihlgren's late challenge caught a NUTGRABBERS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isac Pihlgren helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, Äng was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isac Pihlgren to maneuver through the defense. Victor Bredberg was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Kjell Hermansson. Robin Sikström hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Victor Bredberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Olov Johansson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 84 minute of play. With his leg Victor Bredberg managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when NUTGRABBERS's Gösta Gullesson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Although Äng had been in control for most of the match, NUTGRABBERS still came away with the win.
