Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rimbo IF's Thomas Bodin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. NUTGRABBERS's Conny Blom managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gert Falkrans in the 4 minute of the game. Jack Bollström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Bodin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olov Johansson in the 15th minute of play forced Rimbo IF's goalkeeper Ted Bergqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. NUTGRABBERS's Olov Johansson got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Thomas Bodin put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jack Bollström. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olov Johansson in the 25th minute of play forced Rimbo IF's goalkeeper Ted Bergqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, NUTGRABBERS's Jack Bollström got control of the ball when Thomas Bodin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th match minute, NUTGRABBERS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Malmberg to maneuver through the defense. Jack Bollström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mårten Söderquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gösta Gullesson made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olov Johansson during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 53 minutes into the match, NUTGRABBERS's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Bodin came free, but Jack Bollström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Mårten Söderquist fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rimbo IF's protests and gave Mårten Söderquist a yellow card for diving instead. Mårten Söderquist hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Kjell Hermansson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Rimbo IF's Ted Bergqvist didn't even have to move. Jack Bollström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mårten Söderquist in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, NUTGRABBERS's goal looked a bit too open when Mårten Söderquist came free, but Jack Bollström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Rimbo IF's zone, Gösta Gullesson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ted Bergqvist came out of the goal and Gösta Gullesson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Rimbo IF booed when NUTGRABBERS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig-Åke Valrot didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gösta Gullesson fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NUTGRABBERS's protests and gave Gösta Gullesson a yellow card for diving instead. Gösta Gullesson hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After 66th play minutes Thomas Bodin shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Jack Bollström and just under the crossbar into goal. Ted Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olov Johansson in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of NUTGRABBERS booed when Rimbo IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Bodin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 91 minutes into the game, when Conny Blom put in a rough tackle. Conny Blom kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After 93 played minutes, Rimbo IF's Roy Pilblad shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jack Bollström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rimbo IF reached it. Rimbo IF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
