Hällingsjö IK's Osvald Kjellbom quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Leif Rudberg, made in the 77th minute of the game. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Downi FF's zone, Tommy Ahlquist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alf Lindström came out of the goal and Tommy Ahlquist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hällingsjö IK were awarded a corner in the 98th minute after Downi FF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hampus Lindgren took the corner. The Downi FF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
