In the 11th match minute, Blyth Spartans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sakarias Sandberg to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the game, Blyth Spartans's Claes Almqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aldo Paul made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, Kajetan Borucki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aldo Paul. Skillingaryd IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kajetan Borucki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 22nd minute Claes Almqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Paul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Viktor Byström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 minutes of play, Blyth Spartans's Joseph Hedin made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aldo Paul was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 32nd minute Kajetan Borucki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Paul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Claes Almqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Viktor Byström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viktor Byström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Claes Almqvist struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Aldo Paul didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blyth Spartans. Blyth Spartans's Saturnino Valente was substituted for Thad Jøker. Skillingaryd IFK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Laureano Cordera scored to the left of an out of position Aldo Paul, making the score, 0-4. Kajetan Borucki came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aldo Paul could save by the left post. Aldo Paul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Cordera, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Aldo Paul was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Kajetan Borucki capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kajetan Borucki really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. 0-6 became the score in the 73rd minute when Laureano Cordera elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Aldo Paul stood somewhat misplaced when Laureano Cordera came free in front of goal and shot 0-7 to the left of him in the 78 minute. Xälil Qämbärov in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aldo Paul, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Gunnar Örtlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aldo Paul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Cordera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Valente in the 93rd minute of play forced Skillingaryd IFK's goalkeeper Aldo Paul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aldo Paul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Valente in the 93rd minute of play. Blyth Spartans's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
