Spectators: 7528 (Terracing: 5647, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Peter Vassenius started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes Hällingsjö IK got a freekick which was hit by Peter Vassenius. Claes Almqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Melker Forssberg during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Melker Forssberg got his second yellow card in the match during the 20th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Hällingsjö IK's Melker Forssberg got a free kick in the 21st minute. Jimmie Klack took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claes Almqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Blyth Spartans booed when Hällingsjö IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Vassenius didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Claes Almqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jimmie Klack was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The audience was convinced that Claes Almqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jimmie Klack was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Claes Almqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Jimmie Klack made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claes Almqvist in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jimmie Klack prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Claes Almqvist scored 2-0 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jimmie Klack, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claes Almqvist was the one to do the kick off. Blyth Spartans's Laureano Cordera was substituted for Claes Almqvist. Henrik Palm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blyth Spartans's Xälil Qämbärov was substituted for Kajetan Borucki. After 71st play minutes Xälil Qämbärov shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Jimmie Klack and just under the crossbar into goal. Hällingsjö IK were furious when Peter Vassenius was red carded, 77 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Hällingsjö IK's Jimmie Klack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Cordera in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xälil Qämbärov in the 84th minute of play forced Hällingsjö IK's goalkeeper Jimmie Klack to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jimmie Klack stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xälil Qämbärov's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Xälil Qämbärov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jimmie Klack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xälil Qämbärov in the 90th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laureano Cordera in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jimmie Klack prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Xälil Qämbärov took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jimmie Klack. Jimmie Klack dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Blyth Spartans's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
