The referee gave Thor Örtendal a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Skillingaryd IFK getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Thor Örtendal hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the game, Bertil Lövgren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aldo Paul. Bertil Lövgren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 45 minutes into the match, Witold Kiewra dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aldo Paul, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertil Lövgren in the 48th minute of play forced Skillingaryd IFK's goalkeeper Aldo Paul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Aldo Paul was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aldo Paul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertil Lövgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven Jonsson scored 5-1 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aldo Paul, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
