An unexpectedly hard shot by Sverker Säf in the 11th minute of play forced Hällingsjö IK's goalkeeper Jimmie Klack to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Hällingsjö IK's goal looked a bit too open when Sverker Säf came free, but Jimmie Klack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sverker Säf's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jimmie Klack read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Jimmie Klack stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Göran Sjöberg's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After 33 minutes, Göran Sjöberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Got3rvov and the Hällingsjö IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Got3rvov's Göran Sjöberg got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Andreas Bengtsson in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jimmie Klack, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 37th minute Göran Sjöberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmie Klack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sverker Säfs short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Jimmie Klack to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Andreas Bengtsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Göran Sjöberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Sverker Säf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bror Rudkvist struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Jimmie Klack didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Got3rvov. In the 60th match minute, Got3rvov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Vassenius to maneuver through the defense. Göran Sjöberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jimmie Klack tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Freddie Strandberg made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Peter Vassenius sent off a good shot on target. Bror Rudkvist hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter Vassenius got free with Freddie Strandberg in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Got3rvov had played much better football throughout.
