Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Torbjörn Bohlin started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bertil Åhman during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of IFK Söderköping booed when Smögen BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertil Åhman didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Per-Oskar Möller came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the IFK Söderköping fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per-Oskar Möller couldn't finish the play. 6 minutes into the game, Torbjörn Bohlin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rune Danielsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of IFK Söderköping booed when Smögen BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boris Ugla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rune Danielsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torbjörn Bohlin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 minutes, Per-Oskar Möller made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Smögen BK's Rune Danielsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 17 minutes into the match, Per-Oskar Möller notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Smögen BK's Rune Danielsson. Rune Danielsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars-Erik Widberg in the 20th minute of play forced Smögen BK's goalkeeper Rune Danielsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21 played minutes Smögen BK got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Helander. Rune Danielsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torbjörn Bohlin in the 22nd minute of play. Daniel Wennerberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Smögen BK's Rune Danielsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Oskar Möller in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to Smögen BK getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Robert Åkesson hit a great ball. Rune Danielsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torbjörn Bohlin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the game, Robert Åkesson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Smögen BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IFK Söderköping the free kick. Robert Åkesson hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robert Åkesson was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Per-Oskar Möller cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Rune Danielsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 54 minutes into the match, Smögen BK's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Bohlin came free, but Rune Danielsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lars-Erik Widberg struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Rune Danielsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFK Söderköping. The crowd rose to their feet as IFK Söderköping's Torbjörn Bohlin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rune Danielsson. That made the score 0-7 after 58 minutes of play. Stefan Josefsson kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Smögen BK's Rune Danielsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Smögen BK from getting a goal against them. Sven-Ove Käller was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 73 minutes into the match. A collision led to IFK Söderköping getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Sven-Ove Käller hit a great ball. If Daniel Wennerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Stefan Josefsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Per-Oskar Möller got free with Rune Danielsson in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. IFK Söderköping's Per-Oskar Möller got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Per-Oskar Möller ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rune Danielsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-8. When the final whistle sounded IFK Söderköping left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Smögen BK.
