The crowd rose to their feet as Robert Åkesson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ingemar Ros. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. After having played for 15 minutes, Daniel Wennerberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Smögen BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Wennerberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rune Danielsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peder Ahlerot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peder Ahlerot in the 26th minute of play forced Smögen BK's goalkeeper Rune Danielsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Åkessons short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Ingemar Ros to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Wennerberg got free with Ingemar Ros in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 32 minutes into the match, Daniel Wennerberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ingemar Ros. Jaeger United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Wennerberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robert Åkesson made a kick off. Ingemar Ros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Josefsson in the 53rd minute of the match. Ingemar Ros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Josefsson in the 55th minute of play. Jaeger United's Ingemar Ros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Åkesson in the 62nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boris Ugla during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jaeger United's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Smögen BK had won, even though Jaeger United had held more of the ball.
