Teobald Kosiorek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. William Pihlberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Klas Öberg went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. William Pihlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Grönberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 55th minute, Klas Öberg made a precise shot to the right of William Pihlberg. Älmestad BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2.
