Mats Tönnberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Kurt Göransson made a huge save. 22 minutes into the game, Nils Sandberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vargön Alloys FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eagle Star the free kick. In the 22nd minute, Nils Sandberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kurt Göransson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 33 minutes into the match, Eagle Star's goal looked a bit too open when Pär Odin came free, but Kurt Göransson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mats Tönnberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Kurt Göransson made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Otto Ålberg got free with Kurt Göransson in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Orvar Frisk made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otto Ålberg in the 51st minute of play forced Eagle Star's goalkeeper Kurt Göransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Mats Tönnberg notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Eagle Star's Kurt Göransson. Kurt Göransson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Orvar Frisk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Otto Ålberg during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 69th minute, Pär Odin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kurt Göransson was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Otto Ålberg got his second yellow card in the match during the 72nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 72nd minute, Otto Ålberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mats Tönnberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Tönnberg in the 82nd minute of play forced Eagle Star's goalkeeper Kurt Göransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Vargön Alloys FC's Nils Sandberg got a free kick in the 84th minute. Jack Ahlfors received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Sven-Åke Bjurström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 89 minutes, Gustaf Svanberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eagle Star and the Vargön Alloys FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vargön Alloys FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
