The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mårten Hammarbäck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mårten Hammarbäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Gustaf Kellman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute Mårten Hammarbäck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaf Kellman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 played minutes, Bureå IFK's Ian Billström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rickard Överman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bureå IFK reached it. Marcus Lundström kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 34th match minute, Bureå IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anders Rudberg to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the game, Ulf Kinell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fiskarnas BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bureå IFK the free kick. Gustaf Kellman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulf Kinell, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After 45 minutes of play, Bureå IFK's Börje Söderström made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rickard Överman was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Ulf Kinell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulf Kinell to strike the kick off in the second half. When Bureå IFK's Björn Edström in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fiskarnas BK's goalie prevented a goal. When Mårten Hammarbäck came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Fiskarnas BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mårten Hammarbäck couldn't finish the play. Mårten Hammarbäck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Gustaf Kellman made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Mårten Hammarbäck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fiskarnas BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Mårten Hammarbäck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustaf Kellman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 60 played minutes Bureå IFK got a freekick which was hit by Kasper Anundsson. Fiskarnas BK's Karl Lundgren couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 61st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bureå IFK. The supporters of Fiskarnas BK booed when Bureå IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvald Sillén didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 63 minutes, Mårten Hammarbäck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fiskarnas BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mårten Hammarbäck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Fiskarnas BK fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Fiskarnas BK's Mårten Hammarbäck looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 73 minutes into the match, Fiskarnas BK's Mårten Hammarbäck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustaf Kellman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Aaron Jespersson came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Fiskarnas BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aaron Jespersson couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the game, Mårten Hammarbäck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Gustaf Kellman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Osvald Sillén kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th match minute, Bureå IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kasper Anundsson to maneuver through the defense. Gustaf Kellman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mårten Hammarbäck's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Ulf Kinell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaf Kellman having to interfere. Gustaf Kellman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mårten Hammarbäck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulf Kinell hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Nils-Erik Klintæus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Bureå IFK were victorious despite being under pressure from Fiskarnas BK for much of the match.
