In the 12th match minute, Praetorians FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Bjursell to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Praetorians FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pär Odin came free, but Malcolm Ivarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 15 minutes, Mats Tönnberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vargön Alloys FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mats Tönnberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sven-Åke Bjurström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Heggert, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kevin Heggert to make the kick off. Mats Tönnberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malcolm Ivarsson having to interfere. Olov Damm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sven-Åke Bjurström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Mats Tönnberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 65 minutes into the match, Vargön Alloys FC's Otto Ålberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Malcolm Ivarsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mats Tönnberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Malcolm Ivarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Conny Termander struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Malcolm Ivarsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vargön Alloys FC. Mats Tönnberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Praetorians FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Simon Mogren hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Olov Damm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven-Åke Bjurström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a rather tough play, Praetorians FC's Simon Mogren got a free kick in the 91st minute. Mats Tönnberg in the 94thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Malcolm Ivarsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Olov Damm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven-Åke Bjurström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Heggert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Praetorians FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vargön Alloys FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
