The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Vargön Alloys FC defense, Jan-Ove Rydelius kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven-Åke Bjurström. The Vargön Alloys FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven-Åke Bjurström should have stopped the shot. Mats Tönnberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Peter Påk made a huge save. Peter Påk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pär Odin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Sandberg in the 9th minute of play forced Fisksätra Juniorer's goalkeeper Peter Påk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conny Termander hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Mats Tönnberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Påk having to interfere. Peter Påk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pär Odin in the 16th minute of the match. Nils Sandberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Peter Påk made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Tim Lingren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fisksätra Juniorer's supporters rose to their feet, but Tim Lingren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Åke Bjurström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Tim Lingren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23rd play minutes Jan-Ove Rydelius shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Sven-Åke Bjurström and just under the crossbar into goal. After a defensive mix-up in Vargön Alloys FC's zone, Tim Lingren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Åke Bjurström came out of the goal and Tim Lingren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Otto Ålberg's late challenge caught a Fisksätra Juniorer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Otto Ålberg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Fisksätra Juniorer booed when Vargön Alloys FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otto Ålberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan-Ove Rydelius hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute of the match Tim Lingren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sven-Åke Bjurström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Morgan Modig hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Vargön Alloys FC's Peter Påk threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pär Odin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan-Ove Rydelius to strike the kick off in the second half. If Sakarias Sjöman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fisksätra Juniorer's Jan-Ove Rydelius got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Fisksätra Juniorer's Tim Lingren got a free kick in the 68th minute. Peter Påk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pär Odin went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 76th match minute, Vargön Alloys FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pär Odin to maneuver through the defense. Jan-Ove Rydelius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Åke Bjurström having to interfere. 88 minutes into the game, Conny Termander threw the ball into play from the sideline. Fisksätra Juniorer's Tim Lingren quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Pär Odin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Påk having to interfere.
