Bureå IFK's Björn Edström got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Inge Helander's late challenge caught a Bureå IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inge Helander helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th minute, Inge Helander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustaf Kellman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens Åman, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After a rather tough play, Bureå IFK's Osvald Sillén got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute, Osvald Sillén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 25 played minutes Angels FC got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Wennersten. After 26 played minutes Bureå IFK got a freekick which was hit by Kasper Anundsson. Egon Thorsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. A collision led to Angels FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Stefan Persson hit a great ball. Ian Billström was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 33rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Börje Söderström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Michael Nykvist having to interfere. If Börje Söderström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the game, Bureå IFK's Börje Söderström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karl-Michael Nykvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Björn Edström made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Björn Edström in the 52nd minute of play forced Angels FC's goalkeeper Karl-Michael Nykvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58thth minute of the game Inge Helander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bureå IFK's Gustaf Kellman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 64th minute, Jens Åman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Inge Helander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Gustaf Kellman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl-Michael Nykvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Björn Edström's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the game, Björn Edström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bureå IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Angels FC the free kick. After 79 played minutes Bureå IFK got a freekick which was hit by Björn Edström. After 80 minutes, Knut Abrahamsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bureå IFK and the Angels FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bureå IFK's Knut Abrahamsson got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute, Jens Åman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute, one of Bureå IFK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bureå IFK. 87 minutes into the match, Bureå IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Jens Åman came free, but Gustaf Kellman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inge Helander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jens Åman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bureå IFK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
