Adrian Broberg started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torsten Hedling in the 3rd minute of play forced Skeppshult's goalkeeper Edmund Westerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Georg Strand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Broberg in the 4th minute of play. A collision led to Skeppshult getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Malte Löfgren hit a great ball. The supporters of Skeppshult booed when BoysDontCry was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georg Fredriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bengt-Rune Klintæus might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmund Westerberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bengt-Rune Klintæus ran back to his position shaking his head. If Adrian Broberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 29 minutes into the game, Göran Adelsköld was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skeppshult's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BoysDontCry the free kick. Göran Adelsköld hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Malte Löfgren in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Georg Strand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 41 minutes into the match, BoysDontCry's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Broberg came free, but Georg Strand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, BoysDontCry's Bengt-Rune Klintæus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edmund Westerberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Torsten Hedling was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Malte Löfgren got free with Georg Strand in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adrian Broberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Strand having to interfere. Edmund Westerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Rune Klintæus in the 65th minute of play. Malte Löfgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Georg Strand. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Malte Löfgren ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Skeppshult's Adrian Broberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Georg Strand. That made the score 1-1 after 72 minutes of play. With his leg Georg Strand managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Skeppshult's Malte Löfgren fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Adrian Broberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BoysDontCry succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Skeppshult had controlled the match.
