Inge Vassenius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tim Drewitz struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Morgan Örtendahl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Överum BF. Kenneth Pihlgren's late challenge caught a Rimbo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kenneth Pihlgren helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th match minute, Överum BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenneth Pihlgren to maneuver through the defense. Morgan Örtendahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tim Drewitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 19th play minutes Alexander Åberg shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Marko Hammarberg and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 21st minute, Justo Filipo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marko Hammarberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigvard Christoffersson in the 23rd minute of the match. A collision led to Överum BF getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Mattias Hägg hit a great ball. Justo Filipo might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marko Hammarberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Justo Filipo ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Överum BF's Karl-Axel Hedkvist got a free kick in the 28th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Överum BF's zone, Alexander Åberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marko Hammarberg came out of the goal and Alexander Åberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 37 in the game by Alexander Åberg from a close distance when the talented Marko Hammarberg managed to make a qualified save. Överum BF's players were relieved.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexander Åberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alexander Åberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thor Skager hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Evert Dalman was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 56th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Gunnar Aronsson charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gunnar Aronsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Överum BF getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Gunnar Aronsson hit a great ball. Niklas Axelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Morgan Örtendahl having to interfere. Marko Hammarberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Åberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sigvard Christoffersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Marko Hammarberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Gunnar Aronsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elias Biörkman kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Morgan Örtendahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niklas Axelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Marko Hammarberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Inge Vassenius went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Åberg in the 85th minute of play forced Överum BF's goalkeeper Marko Hammarberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rimbo FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
