When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Peter Wahlnäs sped through Rozes FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Harry Cane. When Eddie Lövkvist fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rozes FC's protests and gave Eddie Lövkvist a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Oxelösund RK booed when Rozes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddie Lövkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Peter Wahlnäs could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Harry Cane however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to Oxelösund RK getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Morgan Hansson hit a great ball. In the 28th minute of the match Alf Lind shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kim Möllgren showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Melker Örtendahl hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Peter Wahlnäs who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Harry Cane when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Harry Cane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Lidström in the 33rd minute of the match. Harry Cane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Lidström, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Frank Nyström kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. If Alf Lind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. Rozes FC's Harry Cane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Lidström in the 46th minute of play. Harry Cane was a little too slow when Peter Lidström got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When Anders Vennerberg came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Rozes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anders Vennerberg couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Oxelösund RK fully deserved thier win.
