Spectators: 7444 (Terracing: 5584, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Torsten Hedling took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in BoysDontCry's zone, Torbjörn Karlberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Georg Strand came out of the goal and Torbjörn Karlberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kasper Ström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torsten Hedling in the 8th minute of play. After 11 minutes, Torsten Hedling mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BoysDontCry and the Dijon FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to BoysDontCry getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Torsten Hedling hit a great ball. After 21 played minutes BoysDontCry got a freekick which was hit by Tord Björklund. In the 23rd match minute, Dijon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johan Ahlbom to maneuver through the defense. Joel Forsberg's late challenge caught a Dijon FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joel Forsberg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Dijon FC booed when BoysDontCry was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Forsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Georg Strand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakob Stenström, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Jakob Stenström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bengt-Rune Klintæus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jakob Stenström to make the kick off. In the 60th play minute Jakob Stenström came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Georg Strand. 1-2. After having played for 64 minutes, Lukas Koch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dijon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lukas Koch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kasper Ström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torsten Hedling, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Kasper Ström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torsten Hedling in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Torsten Hedling got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 79 played minutes Dijon FC got a freekick which was hit by Torbjörn Karlberg. 81 minutes into the game, BoysDontCry's Torsten Hedling nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kasper Ström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. 86 minutes into the game, Bengt-Rune Klintæus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Kasper Ström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 91 minutes into the match, Dijon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Torsten Hedling came free, but Kasper Ström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dijon FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing BoysDontCry to leave the ground with a draw.
