After a defensive mix-up in Malmö FF's zone, Ottó Nyitrai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. George Joensson came out of the goal and Ottó Nyitrai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. George Joensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ottó Nyitrai in the 7th minute of play. George Joensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ottó Nyitrai in the 9th minute of the match. Alfred Back fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Joensson having to interfere. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Malmö FF getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Sven-Åke Åkerström hit a great ball. After 28 minutes, Göran Alebeck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malmö FF and the Genarp FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Göran Alebeck kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Ottó Nyitrai made a precise shot to the right of George Joensson. Malmö FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Ottó Nyitrai took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised George Joensson. George Joensson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 37th minute, Ottó Nyitrai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Alfred Back managed to get in a good position for a shot. Genarp FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfred Back was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. George Joensson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ottó Nyitrai blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without George Joensson having to make a save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ottó Nyitrai stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ottó Nyitrais short, quick shot in the 51stth minute got George Joensson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mattias Blomberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Joensson having to interfere. Malmö FF's George Joensson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Malmö FF from getting a goal against them. Malmö FF's Göran Alebeck got his second yellow card of the match in the 55th minute. The referee ordered Göran Alebeck off the ground. 58 minutes into the game, Ottó Nyitrai recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of George Joensson. Ottó Nyitrai showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Malmö FF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Alfred Back scored to the left of an out of position George Joensson, making the score, 0-6. George Joensson came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Genarp FK's Urban Igelström. But to his dismay, Urban Igelström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Alfred Back sped through Malmö FF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of George Joensson. In the 73rd minute, Alfred Back hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute, Alfred Back fired away a free kick at goal. Malmö FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Conny Anundsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-9. Conny Anundsson struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. George Joensson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Genarp FK. Genarp FK played a much better game than Malmö FF and deserved their victory. The Malmö FF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
