The supporters of Mustalainen Lahti FC booed when Malshi United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bror Thedin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan-Olof Harman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Roano having to interfere. Jan-Olof Harman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Ubaldo Roano made a huge save. After 12 played minutes Malshi United got a freekick which was hit by Bror Thedin. Ubaldo Roano came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Mustalainen Lahti FC's Jan-Olof Harman. But to his dismay, Jan-Olof Harman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bror Thedin in the 21st minute of play forced Mustalainen Lahti FC's goalkeeper Thomas Bagge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Bror Thedin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ubaldo Roano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernst Fagerberg in the 26th minute of the match. With a little luck, Malshi United's Ubaldo Roano got control of the ball when Jan-Olof Harman tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29th minute, Bror Thedin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Malshi United's Arvid Eliasson got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Malshi United's Ubaldo Roano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Malshi United from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute, Bror Thedin made a precise shot to the right of Thomas Bagge. Mustalainen Lahti FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 45 minutes into the game, Mustalainen Lahti FC's Jan-Olof Harman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ubaldo Roano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor Sundberg made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernst Fagerberg in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ubaldo Roano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thomas Bagge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bror Thedin in the 53rd minute of the match. Malshi United's Bror Thedin got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57th minute Ernst Fagerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Roano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute Jan-Olof Harman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Roano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex Sigman's late challenge caught a Malshi United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Many of Malshi United's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Malshi United may have spent more time on the ball, but Mustalainen Lahti FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
