Brunna FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bo-Erik Ekenberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thomas Bagge didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tommy Jespersson went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Joachim Nordin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tommy Jespersson was the one to do the kick off. But to his dismay, Tommy Jespersson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. If Joachim Nordin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomas Bagge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Jespersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
