The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ubaldo Roano made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Ottó Nyitrai sent off a good shot on target. Ubaldo Roano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Back, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfred Back couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute, Urban Igelström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ubaldo Roano was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Ubaldo Roano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Urban Igelström in the 27th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfred Back in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ubaldo Roano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In a very dangerous position, a player in Malshi United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! Ubaldo Roano had in the 32ndth minute some difficulties stopping Mattias Blomberg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 37 minutes of play, Genarp FK's Urban Igelström made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ubaldo Roano was left in no man's land by his defense there! 43 minutes into the match, Malshi United's goalkeeper Ubaldo Roano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ottó Nyitrai. Ubaldo Roano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alfred Back showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-0 in the 47 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victor Sundberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alfred Back sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Conny Anundsson's late challenge caught a Malshi United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Conny Anundsson helped the player get up and apologised. Ubaldo Roano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Back, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. A collision led to Malshi United getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Bror Thedin hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute Ottó Nyitrai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Roano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Eddie Hedlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Eddie Hedlund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ubaldo Roano. Malshi United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eddie Hedlund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Ubaldo Roano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ottó Nyitrai, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. The supporters of Malshi United booed when Genarp FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ottó Nyitrai didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Malshi United defense, Alfred Back kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ubaldo Roano. The Malshi United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ubaldo Roano should have stopped the shot.
