Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Robin Nyström started the match with the kick off. Robin Nyström struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Anthon Sundberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Snyggkex. Jaeger's Sten Ahlquist got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Victor Hedin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaeger's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Hedin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stig-Ove Ström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ulf Heggert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Anthon Sundberg made a huge save. Anthon Sundberg was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Mattias Fastesson. Ulf Heggert might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anthon Sundberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ulf Heggert ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 23rd minute Robin Nyström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthon Sundberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robin Nyström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthon Sundberg having to interfere. If Sten Ahlquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulf Heggert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andreas Arenius hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Robin Nyström was extremely unlucky when he, in the 42nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oskar Fernkvist to strike the kick off in the second half. Stig-Ove Ström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Hedin in the 52nd minute. In the 52nd minute, Malte Browald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sten Ahlquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Stig-Ove Ström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robin Nyström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anthon Sundberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Snyggkex's goalkeeper Stig-Ove Ström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stig-Ove Ström was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Oskar Fernkvist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Oskar Fernkvist really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. After 63 played minutes Jaeger got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Ahlquist. After a defensive mix-up in Jaeger's zone, Robin Nyström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anthon Sundberg came out of the goal and Robin Nyström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oskar Fernkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stig-Ove Ström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Ulf Heggert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Anthon Sundberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Nyström in the 76th minute of play forced Jaeger's goalkeeper Anthon Sundberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anthon Sundberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulf Heggert in the 81st minute of the match. If Robin Nyström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 90 minutes, Andreas Arenius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jaeger and the FC Snyggkex players grew even worse after the yellow card. The FC Snyggkex manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Jaeger to win.
