After a defensive mix-up in Madagascar Gegenpressing's zone, Sören Spets stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gunnar Eliasson came out of the goal and Sören Spets tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 8 minutes into the match, Tom Löfgren dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gunnar Eliasson, 1-0. A collision led to Trummenäs BK getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Inge Vassenius hit a great ball. Erik Bolin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sverker Gunnarsson in the 13th minute of play. When Folke Holm fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Madagascar Gegenpressing's protests and gave Folke Holm a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Madagascar Gegenpressing! When the match had been going on for 22 minutes, Trummenäs BK's Sören Spets got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gunnar Eliasson. After a rather tough play, Madagascar Gegenpressing's Patrick Ahlstedt got a free kick in the 26th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Trummenäs BK's Sören Spets tried to score from far away in the 27th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Erik Bolin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Flinck, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Sören Spets fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Eliasson having to interfere. In the 38th match minute, Madagascar Gegenpressing was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Folke Holm to maneuver through the defense. Roy Bern sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and André Flinck made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Trummenäs BK's Tom Löfgren got a free kick in the 54th minute. Erik Bolin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Flinck, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sören Spets in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gunnar Eliasson saved Madagascar Gegenpressing from getting behind. After 71 played minutes Trummenäs BK got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Lööf. Madagascar Gegenpressing made a substitution. Sverker Lindman replaced Agne Trillkott. In the 73rd minute, Dennis Lööf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roy Bern got free with Erik Bolin in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 77 minutes into the match, Trummenäs BK's goalkeeper Erik Bolin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roy Bern. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, André Flinck took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Erik Bolin to make any attempt to save it. Trummenäs BK's Sören Spets got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Håkan Apelqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Gunnar Eliasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sören Spets fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Eliasson having to interfere. Håkan Apelqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. André Flinck struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Erik Bolin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Madagascar Gegenpressing.
