After a rather tough play, Sjöbo FF's Albin Isaksson got a free kick in the 16th minute. After having played for 17 minutes, Kenneth Ekelund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hakkapeliitta Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kenneth Ekelund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Gustaf Lägdin put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Carl Utter. In the 29th minute, Torgny Bergström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilhelm Högström hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute Harry Hedman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torgny Lundblad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torgny Lundblad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry Hedman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Harry Hedman was the one to do the kick off. Torgny Lundblad came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Hakkapeliitta Academy's Wilhelm Högström. But to his dismay, Wilhelm Högström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After some careless play in the Sjöbo FF defense, Wilhelm Högström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Torgny Lundblad. The Sjöbo FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Torgny Lundblad should have stopped the shot. If Wilhelm Högström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torgny Lundblad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Hedman in the 71st minute of the match. In the 77th minute Hakkapeliitta Academy were awarded a corner. Kenneth Ekelund went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Hakkapeliitta Academy's corner Kenneth Ekelund fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Torgny Lundblad quite easily take care of the ball. Wilhelm Högström succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 84th playminute. Sjöbo FF's Torgny Lundblad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harry Hedman in the 88th minute of play. After 91 minutes, Maximilian Jönsätt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hakkapeliitta Academy and the Sjöbo FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Maximilian Jönsätt kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Hakkapeliitta Academy left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sjöbo FF.
