Kubrat Gazenov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Kolberg having to interfere. Tomas Kolberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kubrat Gazenov, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Tomas Kolberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Hammerdal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomas Kolberg should have stopped the shot. Eskil Dusetts short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Bertil Lindberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eskil Dusett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertil Lindberg having to interfere. Eskil Dusett's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Bertil Lindberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The Hammerdal players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Afghan were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 顾川然 made a kick off. Lars Engström charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lars Engström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 69 played minutes Hammerdal got a freekick which was hit by Lars Engström. After a defensive mix-up in Hammerdal's zone, 顾川然 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Kolberg came out of the goal and 顾川然 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 顾川然's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tomas Kolberg firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 87th minute, Eskil Dusett left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hammerdal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. If Gustav Törnblom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
