The tension between the Sjöbo FF and the Jaeger players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jörgen Kock hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the game, Niclas Hedlund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sjöbo FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jaeger the free kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jonas Andreasson made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Jonas Andreasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthon Sundberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Andreasson in the 56th minute of play forced Jaeger's goalkeeper Anthon Sundberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Jaeger's goal looked a bit too open when Niclas Hedlund came free, but Anthon Sundberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torgny Lundblad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oskar Fernkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oskar Fernkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
