In the 5th minute, Henrik Vennerlund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erik Kellman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Emil Ånger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Malcolm Emander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Samuel Firmin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henrik Vennerlund might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erik Kellman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henrik Vennerlund ran back to his position shaking his head. 19 minutes into the match, BK Grimmy's goalkeeper Erik Kellman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henrik Vennerlund. After some careless play in the BK Grimmy defense, Henrik Vennerlund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erik Kellman. The BK Grimmy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erik Kellman should have stopped the shot. In the 25th minute, Sven Britz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Henrik Vennerlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oskarshamns AIK's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrik Vennerlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erik Kellman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henrik Vennerlund succeeded in the game's 33rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. 37 minutes into the match, Henrik Vennerlund notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of BK Grimmy's Erik Kellman. Erik Kellman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to BK Grimmy getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Alvar Malmgren hit a great ball. Erik Kellman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henrik Vennerlund's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Erik Kellman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrik Vennerlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henrik Vennerlund made a kick off. Erik Kellman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrik Vennerlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karol Wojtyna's late challenge caught a Oskarshamns AIK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karol Wojtyna helped the player get up and apologised. After 55th play minutes Henrik Vennerlund shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Erik Kellman and just under the crossbar into goal. BK Grimmy's Sven Månsson was substituted for Eric Arenius. When Oskarshamns AIK's Henrik Vennerlund in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BK Grimmy's goalie prevented a goal. In the 65th minute, Malcolm Emander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oskarshamns AIK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. In the 69th minute of the game Jerry Hansson made a throw-in which Dick Galle played forward. In the 70th match minute, Oskarshamns AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dick Galle to maneuver through the defense. Oskarshamns AIK's Holger Stenman got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th minute Oskarshamns AIK were awarded a corner. Charlie Hadrup went to the cornerflag to take it. Oskarshamns AIK's Charlie Hadrup was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Erik Kellman in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Malcolm Emander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Henrik Vennerlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Harald Björkdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Kürşat Hürsoy in the 96th minute of play. BK Grimmy's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
