Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd match minute, Hasselfors IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilhelm Hermansson to maneuver through the defense. In the 4th minute, Lennart Tinglöv sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Hasselfors IF's Simon Söderqwist didn't even have to move. Jens-Åke Löv made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ove Kvarnström in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute Ove Kvarnström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Åke Löv saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilhelm Hermansson made a great header on Hasselfors IF's corner, it was just that Sommen's Jens-Åke Löv managed to reach the ball for a save. Jakob Sandberg kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Göran Ivarsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Tinglöv in the 24th minute of play forced Hasselfors IF's goalkeeper Simon Söderqwist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Göran Ivarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Jens-Åke Löv showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilhelm Hermansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Lennart Tinglöv sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sten Hedkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Göran Ivarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Simon Söderqwist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sommen's Jakob Sandberg got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jens-Åke Löv came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Hasselfors IF's Ove Kvarnström. But to his dismay, Ove Kvarnström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When Lennart Tinglöv came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Sommen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lennart Tinglöv couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hasselfors IF's goalkeeper Simon Söderqwist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jakob Sandberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Söderqwist having to interfere. Göran Ivarsson struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Simon Söderqwist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sommen. Sten Hedkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Åke Löv having to interfere. Sten Hedkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Jens-Åke Löv tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Göran Ivarsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simon Söderqwist. Hasselfors IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Göran Ivarsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Jens-Åke Löv made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Ove Kvarnström sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rd minute, Lennart Tinglöv got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hasselfors IF's Ulf Bäckman managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Oskar Berglund in the 85 minute of the game. Sten Hedkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jens-Åke Löv read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play.
