Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Klas Glanselius took the kick off in the first half of the match. Mikael Ekenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilhelm Hermansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 6 minutes into the match, Hasselfors IF's goalkeeper Simon Söderqwist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leo Lindström. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Wilhelm Hermansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hasselfors IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilhelm Hermansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mikael Ekenberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ingmar Nord kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Simon Söderqwist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klas Glanselius, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. When Leo Lindström fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kiruna's protests and gave Leo Lindström a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute, Leo Lindström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ove Kvarnström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Klas Glanselius managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kiruna's supporters rose to their feet, but Klas Glanselius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Söderqwist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leo Lindström's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Simon Söderqwist skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 35 minutes into the match, Hasselfors IF's goal looked a bit too open when Klas Glanselius came free, but Simon Söderqwist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Hasselfors IF's goalkeeper Simon Söderqwist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leo Lindström. After having played for 38 minutes, Klas Glanselius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kiruna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Klas Glanselius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Simon Söderqwist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klas Glanselius in the 39th minute of the match. After 42 played minutes, Kiruna's Tommy Frisck shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Simon Söderqwist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kiruna reached it. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ove Kvarnström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Håkan Lundblad charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Håkan Lundblad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Kiruna booed when Hasselfors IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Håkan Lundblad didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Ingmar Nord notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Hasselfors IF's Simon Söderqwist. Simon Söderqwist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ove Kvarnström came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mikael Ekenberg could save by the left post. Kiruna's supporters rose to their feet, but Leo Lindström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Söderqwist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kiruna. In the 92nd minute of the match, Ove Kvarnström got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mikael Ekenberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Kiruna's zone, Wilhelm Hermansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikael Ekenberg came out of the goal and Wilhelm Hermansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
