In the 4th minute Ali Kürşat Hürsoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig Helander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Tottenham FC booed when BK Grimmy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Arenius didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Tottenham FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of BK Grimmy:s goal. In the 17th minute, Olof Sandström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olof Sandström in the 20th minute of play forced BK Grimmy's goalkeeper Erik Kellman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erik Kellman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olof Sandström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olof Sandström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Kellman having to interfere. Ali Kürşat Hürsoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Stig Helander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ali Kürşat Hürsoy during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to BK Grimmy getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ali Kürşat Hürsoy hit a great ball. In the 35th minute Olof Sandström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Kellman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stig Helander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Kürşat Hürsoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Tottenham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaroslaw Radzyminski came free, but Stig Helander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ali Kürşat Hürsoy made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Markus Finman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tottenham FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Markus Finman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erik Kellman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 53 in the game by Olof Sandström from a close distance when the talented Erik Kellman managed to make a qualified save. BK Grimmy's players were relieved. A sloppy throw-in by Bengt-Arne Waller in the 55th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by BK Grimmy's Eric Arenius. Stig Helander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Wojtyna in the 57th minute of play. Karol Wojtyna succeeded in the game's 58th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. BK Grimmy made a substitution. Kjell-Arne Larsson replaced Sven Britz. After 68 minutes, Sven Månsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BK Grimmy and the Tottenham FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Erik Kellman made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Olof Sandström sent off a good shot on target. Olof Sandström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Kellman having to interfere. After 88 played minutes Tottenham FC got a freekick which was hit by Markus Finman. When the referee ended the match the BK Grimmy players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
