Spectators: 7555 (Terracing: 5668, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 150) Dala-Järna's Arvid Klintæus started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Malcolm Emander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Conny Ekelund. Dala-Järna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Malcolm Emander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Conny Ekelund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malcolm Emander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Vilhelm Ekblom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henrik Vennerlund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Conny Ekelund having to make a save. Dala-Järna's Conny Ekelund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Dala-Järna from getting a goal against them. After 20 minutes of play, Oskarshamns AIK's Henrik Vennerlund made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Conny Ekelund was left in no man's land by his defense there! 30 minutes into the match, Jonatan Falkrantz notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Oskarshamns AIK's Harald Björkdal. Harald Björkdal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 34 played minutes Dala-Järna got a freekick which was hit by Filip Bjurström. Henrik Vennerlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Conny Ekelund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Oskarshamns AIK's Johannes Helström got a free kick in the 45th minute. Harald Björkdal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arvid Klintæus, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henrik Vennerlund was the one to do the kick off. Emil Ånger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the game, Holger Stenman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Conny Ekelund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Harald Björkdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilhelm Ekblom in the 61st minute of play. Samuel Firmin kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. When Arvid Klintæus came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Dala-Järna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arvid Klintæus couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute, Dala-Järna's Pelle Hellsing seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Pelle Hellsing the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Dala-Järna protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Pelle Hellsing had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Dala-Järna! In the 72nd minute there was a penalty for Oskarshamns AIK. Charlie Hadrup stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Conny Ekelund. 5-1. Henrik Vennerlund scored 6-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Conny Ekelund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mark Österlund's late challenge caught a Dala-Järna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mark Österlund helped the player get up and apologised. After 86 played minutes Oskarshamns AIK got a freekick which was hit by Mark Österlund. The supporters of Dala-Järna booed when Oskarshamns AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Österlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Oskarshamns AIK's goalkeeper Harald Björkdal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Many of Dala-Järna's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Dala-Järna may have spent more time on the ball, but Oskarshamns AIK were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
