In the 27th minute Klas Glanselius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Czeszejko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viggo Svanberg was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 30 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Kiruna:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Östervåla IF:s goal. In the 33rd match minute, Kiruna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingmar Nord to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute Jimmie Håkansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Ekenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Kiruna fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Kiruna's Leo Lindström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Oskar Mårtensson kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Jimmie Håkansson scored 2-3 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mikael Ekenberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Oskar Mårtensson struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Damian Czeszejko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kiruna. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isak Skoglund during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Kiruna booed when Östervåla IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isak Skoglund didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Kiruna players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Östervåla IF were winning 2-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leo Lindström made a kick off. Folke Wiklund kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Östervåla IF's goalkeeper Damian Czeszejko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mikael Ekenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmie Håkansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 65th match minute, Östervåla IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isak Skoglund to maneuver through the defense. Damian Czeszejko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Lindström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oskar Mårtensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
