Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ali Kürşat Hürsoy kicked off to start the match. Jaroslaw Radzyminski hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Ali Kürşat Hürsoy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Karol Wojtyna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ingmar Nord charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ingmar Nord the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Kiruna's Ingmar Nord got a free kick in the 7th minute. Mikael Ekenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Kürşat Hürsoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Kiruna's Mikael Ekenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Wojtyna in the 14th minute of play. In the 20th minute Klas Glanselius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Kellman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ali Kürşat Hürsoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 24 minutes of play, BK Grimmy's Karol Wojtyna made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mikael Ekenberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28thth minute of the game Ali Kürşat Hürsoy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kiruna's Mikael Ekenberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Kiruna's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Kürşat Hürsoy came free, but Mikael Ekenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, BK Grimmy's Ali Kürşat Hürsoy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mikael Ekenberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jaroslaw Radzyminski struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Mikael Ekenberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BK Grimmy. Ali Kürşat Hürsoy scored 0-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mikael Ekenberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 47th match minute, BK Grimmy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Arenius to maneuver through the defense. After the first half BK Grimmy were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Klas Glanselius stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Jarl Ahlbeck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kiruna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BK Grimmy the free kick. After 53 played minutes Kiruna got a freekick which was hit by Jarl Ahlbeck. After 55 played minutes BK Grimmy got a freekick which was hit by Håkan Hökqvist. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Lindström in the 58th minute of play forced BK Grimmy's goalkeeper Erik Kellman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Klas Glanselius cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Erik Kellman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mikael Ekenberg stood somewhat misplaced when Ali Kürşat Hürsoy came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 68 minute. BK Grimmy's Kjell-Arne Larsson was substituted for Sven Britz. Erik Kellman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oskar Mårtensson in the 74th minute of play. After a rather tough play, BK Grimmy's Jaroslaw Radzyminski got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 83rd minute Leo Lindström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Kellman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Leo Lindström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kjell-Arne Larsson hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Klas Glanselius took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erik Kellman. Erik Kellman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. BK Grimmy played a much better game than Kiruna and deserved their victory. The Kiruna players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
