Mikael Ekenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arvid Klintæus in the 31st minute of play. In the 37thth minute of the game Klas Glanselius who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dala-Järna's Conny Ekelund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mikael Ekenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arvid Klintæus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mikael Ekenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arvid Klintæus, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Dala-Järna's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Klas Dusett in the 46th minute. After the first half Dala-Järna were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arvid Klintæus was the one to do the kick off. In the 97thth minute of the game Klas Glanselius who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dala-Järna's Conny Ekelund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Kiruna supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Dala-Järna's performance. The match ended with a win for Dala-Järna.
