Spectators: 7473 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lech Cieliczka kicked off to start the match. Ralf Wall stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lech Cieliczka's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. A collision led to Hjälshammar if getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Federico Di Rado hit a great ball. Roland Norberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Ugaitz having to interfere. Jonas Wahlström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ermegildo Ugaitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Ralf Wall didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lech Cieliczka went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Jonas Wahlström charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonas Wahlström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 19 played minutes Hjälshammar if got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Wahlström. After a rather tough play, Hjälshammar if's William Fortuin got a free kick in the 27th minute. Ermegildo Ugaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Norberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Basten United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sebastian Bengtsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Hjälshammar if's players had a chance to rest. Hjälshammar if's Sebastian Bengtsson shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 33rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ermegildo Ugaitz but with some difficulty. Ralf Wall didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lech Cieliczka went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Roland Norberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basten United's Ermegildo Ugaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Norberg in the 43rd minute of play. After 44 minutes, Lech Cieliczka mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Basten United and the Hjälshammar if players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Hjälshammar if booed when Basten United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lech Cieliczka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonas Wahlström was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Basten United's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Wahlström came free, but Ermegildo Ugaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Vincent Smedfeldt in the 56th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Basten United's Johan Karlsson. After 57 played minutes Basten United got a freekick which was hit by Johan Karlsson. In the 80th match minute, Basten United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt Pedersson to maneuver through the defense. Roland Norberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Basten United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
