Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Älmhult's Vilgot Wickander started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Mikael Tillman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Billesholm booed when Älmhult was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Erik Bergman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute Leif Waller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristoffer Kinnman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kristoffer Kinnman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leif Waller, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Kristoffer Kinnman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Håkan Mattsson in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute, Edgar Hydén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Billesholm booed when Älmhult was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arvid Västberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Älmhult's Kristoffer Kinnman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Älmhult from getting a goal against them. The Billesholm fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Billesholm's Håkan Mattsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrik Nyman got free with Kristoffer Kinnman in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eric Apelquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bengt Hellström's late challenge caught a Älmhult's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bengt Hellström helped the player get up and apologised. Bengt Hellström kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Vilgot Wickander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patrik Nyman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Kristoffer Kinnman made a huge save. Edgar Hydén charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgar Hydén the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st minute Leif Waller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristoffer Kinnman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leif Waller to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Billesholm's goalkeeper Victor Nyberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eric Apelquist. 54 minutes into the game, Arvid Västberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Älmhult's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Billesholm the free kick. In the 55th match minute, Älmhult was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arvid Västberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute of the match Thor Stigsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kristoffer Kinnman skillfully saved the ball. In the 58th minute, Edgar Hydén got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Vilgot Wickander put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Victor Nyberg. 70 minutes into the match, Älmhult's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Nyman came free, but Kristoffer Kinnman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Håkan Mattsson put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Kristoffer Kinnman. Victor Nyberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Hydén, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Älmhult's Eric Apelquist got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Patrik Nyman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kristoffer Kinnman. Älmhult's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patrik Nyman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. If Håkan Mattsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the game, Billesholm's Leif Waller nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kristoffer Kinnman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Billesholm were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Älmhult for a fine match.
