In the 10th match minute, FC Metropol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingemar Alefors to maneuver through the defense. Marko Askelöf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Sikström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Nicklas Wiklund sped through Slangarkurvan FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roger Söder. In the 18th minute, Johnny Melander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Slangarkurvan FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Marko Askelöf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Sikström, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnny Melander in the 23rd minute of play forced FC Metropol's goalkeeper Marko Askelöf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FC Metropol getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Erik Dahlberg hit a great ball. In the 61st minute of the match Karl-Erik Hammarström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marko Askelöf showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. FC Metropol's Nicklas Wiklund got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 68 minutes into the match, Johnny Melander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marko Askelöf. FC Metropol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Johnny Melander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Nicklas Wiklund managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Metropol's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicklas Wiklund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger Söder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marko Askelöf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Sikström, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. FC Metropol's Marko Askelöf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johnny Melander in the 82nd minute of play. Kasper Fernkvist hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnny Melander in the 83rd minute of play forced FC Metropol's goalkeeper Marko Askelöf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Metropol's Marko Askelöf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Sikström in the 89th minute of play. After 91 played minutes Slangarkurvan FC got a freekick which was hit by Isac Söderkvist. Johnny Melander took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marko Askelöf. Marko Askelöf dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Slangarkurvan FC had played much better football throughout.
