The audience thought a goal was coming when Vilgot Wickander got free with Rickard Olsson in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rickard Olsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilgot Wickander in the 14th minute of play. Ludvika RK's Rickard Olsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Hydén in the 16th minute of play. Rickard Olsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilgot Wickander, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Ludvika RK's goalkeeper Rickard Olsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vilgot Wickander. The penalty shot was made by Filip Aleberg, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Älmhult's Kristoffer Kinnman. 0-3. After the first half Ludvika RK were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Linus Lindqvist to make the kick off. Edgar Hydén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Rickard Olsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eric Apelquist might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rickard Olsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eric Apelquist ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 62 minutes, Linus Lindqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ludvika RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Linus Lindqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Älmhult's goalkeeper Kristoffer Kinnman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filip Bjurström. After having played for 71 minutes, Eric Apelquist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Älmhult's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eric Apelquist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikael Tillman in the 73rd minute of play forced Ludvika RK's goalkeeper Rickard Olsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rickard Olsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Apelquist in the 76th minute of the match. Edgar Hydén struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Rickard Olsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Älmhult. After some careless play in the Ludvika RK defense, Algot Sikström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rickard Olsson. The Ludvika RK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rickard Olsson should have stopped the shot. Vilgot Wickander kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Älmhult's Eric Apelquist got a free kick in the 88th minute. Filip Aleberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kristoffer Kinnman. Älmhult's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ludvika RK's Rickard Olsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Apelquist in the 92nd minute of play. Kristoffer Kinnman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filip Bjurström in the 94th minute. Eric Apelquist struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Rickard Olsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Älmhult. Ludvika RK were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Älmhult's much stronger midfield.
