Marko Askelöf dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After 26 played minutes FC Vitteryd got a freekick which was hit by Biagio Scarpone. Lino Cisco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionuț Budianu, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Ionuț Budianu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lino Cisco. FC Vitteryd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ionuț Budianu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. 35 minutes into the game, FC Vitteryd's Rickard Snäll nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marko Askelöf made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rickard Snäll got free with Marko Askelöf in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 41st minute Malcolm Nordlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marko Askelöf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Malcolm Nordlunds short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Marko Askelöf to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 45 minutes into the match, Malcolm Nordlund dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marko Askelöf, 5-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Malcolm Nordlund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marko Askelöf didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gösta Clementsson went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. FC Metropol's Marko Askelöf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malcolm Nordlund in the 56th minute of play. After 57 minutes, Ingemar Alefors mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Metropol and the FC Vitteryd players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Vitteryd booed when FC Metropol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingemar Alefors didn't get a good kick on the ball. Malcolm Nordlund scored 7-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marko Askelöf, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 64 minutes into the match, FC Metropol's goal looked a bit too open when Gösta Clementsson came free, but Marko Askelöf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Malcolm Nordlund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marko Askelöf was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. The FC Vitteryd fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when FC Vitteryd's Malcolm Nordlund looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
