Spectators: 7477 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jonas Wahlström started the match with the kick off. Jonas Wahlström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Vitteryd's goalkeeper Lino Cisco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Hjälshammar if's goal looked a bit too open when Max Kollberg came free, but Ralf Wall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15thth minute of the game Max Kollberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hjälshammar if's Ralf Wall was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ralf Wall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rickard Snäll in the 17th minute of play. The corner led FC Vitteryd's Rickard Snäll to fire away a dangerous shot which Ralf Wall despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Jonas Wahlström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lino Cisco. Jonas Wahlström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. A collision led to Hjälshammar if getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Jon Sjödin hit a great ball. Lino Cisco made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Jonas Wahlström sent off a good shot on target. Maximilian Kruuse kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The supporters of FC Vitteryd booed when Hjälshammar if was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roy Näfver didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ralf Wall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Ove Norberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hjälshammar if's Ralf Wall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Snäll in the 41st minute of play. Rickard Snäll fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralf Wall having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Rickard Snäll managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Vitteryd's supporters rose to their feet, but Rickard Snäll was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ralf Wall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hjälshammar if's Ralf Wall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malcolm Nordlund in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Malcolm Nordlund to make the kick off. Ralf Wall made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rickard Snäll in the 65th minute. Lino Cisco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Wahlström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
