Spectators: 7344 (Terracing: 5614, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 10) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Malcolm Nordlund took the kick off in the first half of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Edgar Hydén notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Vitteryd's Lino Cisco. Lino Cisco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Edgar Hydén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th match minute, FC Vitteryd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Biagio Scarpone to maneuver through the defense. Kristoffer Kinnman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malcolm Nordlund in the 18th minute of play. Kristoffer Kinnman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malcolm Nordlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Arvid Västberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Vitteryd's Biagio Scarpone got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Älmhult's Kristoffer Kinnman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malcolm Nordlund in the 26th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, FC Vitteryd's goal looked a bit too open when Algot Sikström came free, but Lino Cisco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Älmhult getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Arvid Västberg hit a great ball. After 35 minutes, Malcolm Nordlund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Vitteryd and the Älmhult players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th minute, Malcolm Nordlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Älmhult's Vilgot Wickander in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Vitteryd's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Gösta Clementsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kristoffer Kinnman. That made the score 2-1 in the 38 minute of play. Lino Cisco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilgot Wickander in the 42nd minute of play. Kristoffer Kinnman was a little too slow when Malcolm Nordlund got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vilgot Wickander to make the kick off. If Mikael Tillman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Biagio Scarpone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Kristoffer Kinnman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute Malcolm Nordlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristoffer Kinnman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gösta Clementsson in the 66th minute of play forced Älmhult's goalkeeper Kristoffer Kinnman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lino Cisco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilgot Wickander in the 67th minute of play. After some careless play in the Älmhult defense, Malcolm Nordlund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kristoffer Kinnman. The Älmhult fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kristoffer Kinnman should have stopped the shot. Lennart Galle's late challenge caught a Älmhult's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lennart Galle helped the player get up and apologised. Lennart Galle kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the last second Lino Cisco throw himself and got hold of the ball when Mikael Tillman in the 79thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Älmhult's Kristoffer Kinnman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Snäll in the 85th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Herbert Lindman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, FC Vitteryd's Lino Cisco got control of the ball when Vilgot Wickander tried to sneak it across the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Malcolm Nordlund notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Älmhult's Kristoffer Kinnman. Kristoffer Kinnman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Älmhult players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Vitteryd.
