Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nils Brandt during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rutger Ödmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Rickard Aspengren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Sigvard Ingvall was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 91st minute, Kaj Mattsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal.
