Spectators: 7348 (Terracing: 5622, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 2) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rudolf Blomqvist kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Kjell-Arne Dahlbom was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Mack's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Husby-Rekarne FF the free kick. In the 4th match minute, FC Mack was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjell-Arne Dahlbom to maneuver through the defense. 5 minutes into the match, Tommy Mårtensson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Mack's Reine Lilja. Reine Lilja was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 10 minutes into the match, FC Mack's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Henriksson came free, but Reine Lilja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reine Lilja came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Husby-Rekarne FF's Tommy Mårtensson. But to his dismay, Tommy Mårtensson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 26th minute, Osvald Wennerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Helge Bergström fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Husby-Rekarne FF's protests and gave Helge Bergström a yellow card for diving instead. Helge Bergström kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Kjell-Arne Dahlbom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 played minutes, Husby-Rekarne FF's Kevin Ljungberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Reine Lilja came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Husby-Rekarne FF reached it. In the 37th match minute, FC Mack was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rikard Hellbom to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Kevin Ljungberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Husby-Rekarne FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Sven-Åke Ånger managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Mack's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Åke Ånger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dick Björkqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Rudolf Blomqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th match minute, Husby-Rekarne FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Henriksson to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the FC Mack defense, Tommy Mårtensson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reine Lilja. The FC Mack fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reine Lilja should have stopped the shot. After the first half Husby-Rekarne FF were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tommy Mårtensson made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, FC Mack was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudolf Blomqvist to maneuver through the defense. Sven-Åke Ånger struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Dick Björkqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Mack. Rudolf Blomqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Dick Björkqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dick Björkqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Åke Ånger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dick Björkqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Åke Ånger in the 67th minute of the match. Reine Lilja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Mårtensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, FC Mack's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Mårtensson came free, but Reine Lilja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kjell-Arne Dahlbom was shown his second yellow card after 69 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Reine Lilja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Mårtensson in the 91st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Mårtensson in the 92nd minute of play forced FC Mack's goalkeeper Reine Lilja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute Tommy Mårtensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reine Lilja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Andreas Nyberg fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Mack's protests and gave Andreas Nyberg a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Husby-Rekarne FF booed when FC Mack was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Nyberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 99 minutes into the match, FC Mack's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Mårtensson came free, but Reine Lilja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Husby-Rekarne FF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
