If Magnus Abrahamsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 13th play minutes Mariano Basualdo shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Sverker Ekelund and just under the crossbar into goal. Sverker Ekelund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magnus Abrahamsson in the 21st minute of play. Sverker Ekelund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Basualdo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bror Utter took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sverker Ekelund. Stall Brasselir's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magnus Abrahamsson in the 41st minute of play forced Stall Brasselir's goalkeeper Sverker Ekelund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sverker Ekelund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Basualdo in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Stall Brasselir's goal looked a bit too open when Magnus Abrahamsson came free, but Sverker Ekelund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gösta Wickander fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stall Brasselir's protests and gave Gösta Wickander a yellow card for diving instead. Gösta Wickander hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Basualdo to make the kick off. A collision led to Stall Brasselir getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Lucas Lind hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Stall Brasselir's zone, Magnus Abrahamsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sverker Ekelund came out of the goal and Magnus Abrahamsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 65 played minutes Stall Brasselir got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Linberg. 67 minutes into the game, Mariano Basualdo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Sverker Ekelund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A hard shot 70 in the game by Mariano Basualdo from a close distance when the talented Sverker Ekelund managed to make a qualified save. Stall Brasselir's players were relieved. The Blunts United fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Blunts United's Mariano Basualdo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 75th minute Magnus Abrahamsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sverker Ekelund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Stall Brasselir getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Dennis Linberg hit a great ball. In the 83rd match minute, Stall Brasselir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georg Gustafsson to maneuver through the defense. After 85 minutes of play, Blunts United's Magnus Abrahamsson made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sverker Ekelund was left in no man's land by his defense there! 88 minutes into the match, Stall Brasselir's goal looked a bit too open when Magnus Abrahamsson came free, but Sverker Ekelund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Thomas Browall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blunts United's supporters rose to their feet, but Thomas Browall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sverker Ekelund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Blunts United played a much better game than Stall Brasselir and deserved their victory. The Stall Brasselir players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
