FC Internazionale's supporters rose to their feet, but Kenny Hermansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcus Hjortberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hjo BK's Marcus Hjortberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaijo Mustkivi in the 25th minute of play. In the 29th minute, FC Internazionale's Sven-Olof Lindberg seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sven-Olof Lindberg the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Internazionale protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sven-Olof Lindberg had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of FC Internazionale:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hjo BK:s goal. In the 35th minute, Harald Rosendahl made a precise shot to the right of Albert Axelsson. FC Internazionale's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After a rather tough play, FC Internazionale's Arvin Askberg got a free kick in the 38th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Kaijo Mustkivi managed to get in a good position for a shot. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andreas Persson was the one to do the kick off. After 63 minutes, Svante Petersson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hjo BK and the FC Internazionale players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Internazionale booed when Hjo BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svante Petersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albert Axelsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Harald Rosendahl's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Internazionale's Kaijo Mustkivi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcus Hjortberg. That made the score 2-2 after 75 minutes of play. Arvin Askberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Marcus Hjortberg made a huge save. If Kaijo Mustkivi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adam Eisner took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcus Hjortberg. Marcus Hjortberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. 93 minutes into the match, Hjo BK's goal looked a bit too open when Kaijo Mustkivi came free, but Marcus Hjortberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harald Rosendahl in the 97th minute of play forced FC Internazionale's goalkeeper Albert Axelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harald Rosendahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Albert Axelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Internazionale's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
