Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ingvar Browall blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcus Hjortberg having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Puttesgrabbar's zone, Harald Rosendahl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bo-Erik Ahlquist came out of the goal and Harald Rosendahl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evert Ekman in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus Hjortberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Filip Thedin's late challenge caught a Puttesgrabbar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filip Thedin helped the player get up and apologised. 20 minutes into the game, Evert Ekman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcus Hjortberg. Evert Ekman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hjo BK's goalkeeper Marcus Hjortberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Puttesgrabbar's Evert Ekman in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hjo BK's goalie prevented a goal. Ingvar Browall struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Marcus Hjortberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Puttesgrabbar. Evert Ekman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Hjortberg having to interfere. A hard shot 49 in the game by Ingvar Browall from a close distance when the talented Marcus Hjortberg managed to make a qualified save. Hjo BK's players were relieved. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evert Ekman to strike the kick off in the second half. Ingvar Browall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Puttesgrabbar's Evert Ekman got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evert Ekman in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus Hjortberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcus Hjortberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Browall in the 67th minute of the match. When Evert Ekman came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Puttesgrabbar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evert Ekman couldn't finish the play. Marcus Hjortberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Browall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74thth minute of the game Ingvar Browall who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hjo BK's Marcus Hjortberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hjo BK! Evert Ekman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Marcus Hjortberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Puttesgrabbar's Evert Ekman in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hjo BK's goalie prevented a goal. Puttesgrabbar's Ingvar Browall got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Puttesgrabbar's Evert Ekman in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hjo BK's goalie prevented a goal. Hjo BK's Marcus Hjortberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evert Ekman in the 93rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Ingvar Browall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puttesgrabbar's supporters rose to their feet, but Ingvar Browall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcus Hjortberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Hjo BK's Andreas Persson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bo-Erik Ahlquist. That made the score 3-1 after 97 minutes of play.
