Andy Göransson ran back to his position shaking his head. 21 minutes into the game, Bo-Erik Lindström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tor Galle. Bo-Erik Lindström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. André Alén charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed André Alén the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bo-Erik Lindström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when André Alén stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Norrahammar IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andy Göransson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
